General Data Protection Regulations
The General Data Protection Regulations came into force in May 2018. As a health care provider, there are only a few changes that you will need to make to be compliant. You can find out more on the dentists pages under “GDPR“. You can also request a new data processing agreement if you have misplaced your original, we can email one to you straight away. There is also lots of information on how we handle data in our data policy section here.
You can get a signed data processing agreement (DPA) in a matter of minutes by completing a simple form. Just visit our GDPR page here and complete the online form. We will email you the form directly and you can keep it for your records. Find out more on the DPA and other GDPR issues on the same page. This section also contains information on our role as a data processor.

Tracking a referral
First make sure that you are entering your referral number correctly – i.e. ABW0001256 with the appropriate area code. If the referral is still not showing as received, then please email us at dental.referrals@wales.nhs.uk with your query and we will do our best to help you.
